St. Patrick, known as the Apostle of Ireland, is the primary patron saint of Ireland. Saint Patrick’s Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick is a cultural and religious celebration occurring annually on 17th March, but we have celebrated today on 20th March.
As it is customary we wear green shamrocks with the lyrics of as song that we sang in front of the mural with the Leprechaun (a type of fairy in Irish folklore) the rainbow, that each class made a colour line, and the pot full of gold coins. Every class read a poem and sang a chant about St. Patricks, and the history of St. Patricks was told by the students of Primary 6th. Good Luck and Happy Paddy’s Day.
